~President Washington's round noggin is made from stained, painted and sanded cotton.

~His wooden jointed body and limbs are made from dried hardwood cut with the axe I swung myself.

~He wears a navy blue broadcloth military jacket lined with gold broadcloth.

~It is adorned with gold seed bead buttons and wee gold epaulettes.

~His ruffled shirt and knickers are cotton.

~His boots are black broadcloth.

~He is approx. 11" tall, 8" high in the seated position.

~Paint and artist pencils were used for his eyes.

~He has a needle sculpted nose, eyebrows and mouth.

~He's got lil' ears too!

~His hair is needle felted, soft mohair and is in the traditional colonial style tied in a queue.

Old Glory...

~In his hand he holds a primitively hand stitched, Betsy Ross inspired American flag tied on a wood stick.

~It is approx. 8" long and is removable.

~Niniveh is made from partially rag stuffed, stained, baked, painted and sanded cotton.

~She is approx. 18" tall.

~Her dress is navy blue ticking and her bloomers are cotton.

~A primitive American flag is hand stitched at the bottom of her dress.

~She wears painted socks and Mary Janes. A crackle technique was used.

~She has a needle sculpted nose and mouth.

~Her scraggly pigtails are genuine horse hair with red ticking bows.

Hannelore...

~Hannelore the Holstein is made from stained, baked, painted and sanded cotton.

~She has stick legs and her tail is hemp with a tuft of soft mohair.

~She's approx. 6" long by 4" high.
